Return to Norway
The family packs up a container full of carpets, books and electronics and returns to Norway. I had applied and been accepted to an International Baccalaureate school in Oslo, so I could continue my studies pretty much unchanged from what I was used to.
I remember dreading the return to the disorganized norwegian school system. The lack of discipline, the lack of learning. The lack of authority, the anti-intellectualism. Happily I avoided this fate by hooking up with the IB track at Berg VGS. The people I met there are people I’m still in touch with. If you’re someone who I haven’t kept in touch with, send me mail or leave a comment and tell me what an idiot I’ve been.
