Ein stein in Time
I remember reading about black holes and Einstein’s relativity theories in a Time magazine article. Actually I doubt I read much about it, but the pictures of stars (orange blobs) being sucked down a warped grid made an impression. One of my teachers (Mrs. Philips, I think) taking my childish interpretations of the diagrams off to show the physics teacher.
It would be quite a few years before I got the hang of relativity, with the help of science fiction.
